To visit every country in the world is no small task. An Indian man recently completed this in only 6 year (the shortest time on record). Considering there are close to 200 countries, it can take a long time and a lot of money to achieve this goal.
The best way to do this is to use round the world air tickets to create a number of staging points for your trip. For example, you could stop off in Bangkok, Thailand. From here, you can visit all the nearby countries using budget airlines and even land travel options – bus, train etc. This will not get you the whole way however, as many countries are difficult to reach. The pacific islands are very remote but at the same time accessible by plane. This will be very expensive though.
