Wii Games Gather Families
December 30, 2009 10:25 pm TechnologyWhen the Nintendo Wii first came on the scene, many people dismissed it as a gimmicky novelty item that didn’t stand a chance in an age of HD graphics. After three full years on the market, those critics are eating their brightly-colored red hats as the Wii leads this generation’s video game console race in terms of worldwide sales. Millions of people buy wii games that boast fun-loving characters and activities that require some extent of physical movement. Since the Wii lacks a user-friendly online playing system, many people who own the Wii tend to play games with families and friends–a trend that takes mulit-player gaming back to the good ol’ days.
