I’ve Been Doing it Ever Since

The first time I heard about dj mixing was from a children’s show that my kids watch on a regular basis. In the show, the main character’s best friend tries to record a song for her mother. However, she can’t sing. So, to avoid hurting her friend’s feelings, the main character remixes the song before she gives the recording to her friend. I was intrigued by the thought that it might be possible to take something that sounded horrible and turn it into something beautiful. I started researching mixing, and decided to try it out. I found out that I was pretty good at it, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
